About Us

Mission

The Brehm Center, an innovative space for the creative integration of worship, theology and the arts in culture

At the Brehm Center, we believe in the revitalization of the church through the arts. By engaging expert faculty, visiting scholars, and world-class artists, the Brehm Center investigates the theory and practice of artistic ministry. The Brehm Center accomplishes its mission through a series of activities and programs:

Degree Programs and Scholarship

This includes the offering of master's and doctoral degrees, and sponsored research.

Extended Education

Seminars and for-credit and non-credit conferences serve current pastors, ministry leaders, as well as practicing artists.

Public Events and Forums

These opportunities, which in many cases are developed in partnership with other institutions, bring into dialogue a large number of people inside and outside the Church.

The Brehm Center is currently building a permanent endowment which will support ongoing         programming, scholarship, research and commissions in worship, theology, and the arts

Collection

The Brehm Center houses a growing collection of research material that includes periodicals and      books relating to our mission. For more information, please stop by our office at 120 N. Oakland, or e-mail .
