alley by alley: an art exhibit
An art exhibit of paintings created from discarded pieces of wood found in the alleys of Whittier, California. The paintings follow a year long study of contemporary artist Joan Snyder. Snyder explores ideas of lament, grief, and human connectedness through pain, joy, and hope. Similarly, the work with in alley by alley strives to do the same.

As part of her thesis project, Jane held an exhibit of her work on Saturday, March 29 from 7-10pm at a small gallery in downtown Whittier.
