Description
Provide general planning for assigned Chapels. Assist in the carrying out of each chapel, especially in the area of music, space arrangement, and preparation of documents/projection for Chapel.
Essential Functions
Planning
Worship Assistants will be assigned days to plan chapel liturgy using the Planning Center Online program
Worship Assistants will be assigned days to plan and lead the music for Chapel (including rehearsal and preparation of charts for musicians).
Music
Lead worship music in assigned chapels
Participate in worship ensemble each week
Attend and participate in all rehearsals
Recruit musicians outside of the team to play in chapel
Administrative Tasks
Preparation of musical charts for rehearsals on assigned days
Preparation of word document of the liturgy for the projection team on assigned days
Participation in weekly staff planning meetings and some production meetings
Recruiting volunteers for participation in Chapel liturgies
Chapel promotion through social media, word of mouth, printed materials, etc.
Requirements
Must be a current Fuller student or alum of Fuller
Capacity to learn quickly and desire to expand knowledge of worship/worship planning
Ability to read music and play a musical instrument preferred
Ability to work independently and also work effectively as a member of a team
Good verbal and written English language skills, as pertains to business communication
Willing to participate in leadership on other occasions as available i.e. special Chapels and events
Proficient with Microsoft Word, CCLI/Song Select, Planning Center Online, Propresenter
Able to transport materials and equipment up to 20 pounds
Special Requirements
Must be willing to sign Fuller’s Statement of Faith. All teaching and management positions are restricted to persons who will affirm in writing the Statement of Faith of Fuller Theological Seminary

Must be willing to attend a 1-day training/organization retreat in the Fall (date TBD)
Candidates must make a commitment for the entire school year (available Monday mornings, 8:30 – 10:30; Wednesday mornings from 8:00 –11:00; Friday mornings from 9:00 – 11:00)
