The Festival of Worship 2013 was held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels on February 10, 2013. The gathered choirs, instruments, and other artists led a truly magnificent Festival of Worship. Special guests were award-winning composer Craig Courtney and opera singer Jessica Rivera.

The Festival of Worship Gala Dinner preceded the worship service at 4 pm in the Cathedral Ballroom. The cost for dinner was $100. A portion of the cost was a deductible expense, with profits going to the Fred Bock Institute of Music.

Dinner guests reserved seats for the festival service and also had the opportunity to take a tour of the Cathedral after the dinner to view the artwork on the grounds and in the Cathedral.  Docents  informed guests about architectural features, the art, sculptures, antiques, and windows. Below is a preview of the Cathedral art and architecture, as well as of the festival choir music.

PARKING INFORMATION:

Because parking at the LA Cathedral is limited, we encouraged you to take alternative transportation or carpool.  Parking was also available at the Music Center- 100 block of Grand Avenue, between West Temple and West First Streets in downtown Los Angeles.
